Over Christmas I took a ferry and spent a couple of days with my Bapak and Ibu Tiri on Wurrumiyanga.

On Christmas Day Bapak showed me a bunch of music that Dadong & Kakek used to listen to, like Elvy Sukaesih and Koes Plus. We listened to music and talked for hours. After the celebrations were over for the day, I went on a dive and found this song 'Cintamu Telah Berlalu' by Koes Plus. I heard the sample and made the beat that night.

It's a gift and offering to them, and to Love that is strained through distance.
